Here in Michigan I feel like a Stranger. All State officials, the house and senate are all conservative tearing down life for all our workforce. So I'm gathering facts about how workers are treated in Europe so I can offer hope to my neighbors.

Most of the funds that kept the strike going for over five months between August 1913 and February 1914 came from British trade unions. We are trying to build links with trades councils, unions, co-ops, Labour Party branches and other groups who mobilised support for the Lockout. The list is not meant to be exclusive but all ideas welcome. You can also post blogs on www.1913committee.ie if interested.
