Who Me?

When asked to participate in a struggle, many people say, "Who Me?" then follow it with excuses as to why they cannot get involved.

As for me, I've been involved for years and have decided to go a new direction. I am a member of the National Writers Union and I want to write about struggles by workers, environmentalists and others. The struggle at this time is becoming more dynamic and more important to our daily survival. I want to be a part of "getting the word out" but also, I feel I can give some insights and interpretations about what's happening. Young people today need to know what those of us who have been in the struggle already know...so I hope to use my writing and other skills to help in that process.
