Unwaged workers resistance in Melbourne Australia 1930s

Heard Jim Munro talk to a small group of us about the local unwaged workers struggles, their march from Camp Road Broadmeadows to Proletarian Hall in Brunswick; occupations to resist bailiff, police and landlord abuses; chalking the street corners to get others to show up in solidarity with homeless, the unemployed groups eviction from Trades Hall, the clashes with Fascists in Parkville. They did not suffer exploitation quietly !
