Unfair Dismissal for 10 union activist in Indonesia Only By Email. FSP2KI Lounches Online Petition

Indonesia Federation of Pulp and Paper Workers Union (FSP2KI) South Sumatra came to Muara Enim Labor Department reported violations committed by PT. Inti Bumi Mas as a contractor outsourcing in PT. Tanjungenim Lestari Pulp and Paper, South Sumatra.

Offenses committed were laid against 10 officials Maintenance Workers Townsite union (SPMT), the agreement is contract used when the type of work is ongoing and work overtime on a holiday (date) is not paid.

The offense under Law No.. 21 Year 2000 on Workers Union / Labor Union is a criminal offense with the threat of confinement of 1-5 years in prison and / or a fine of Rp. 100 million to Rp. 500 million.

FSP2KI therefore requested that the Department of Labor to use its authority as an officer of civil servants who have the right to investigate the elements of the criminal investigation and make a determination on violation of basic rights of a permanent employment  (PKWTT) and less overtime paid starting from year 2007.
