THE NEW TRADE UNION MOVEMENT
Old forms and ideas no longer sufced for the trade union: it had to innovate. Talk to people and present a proposal for a New Trade Union Movement that can flexibly and decisively look after the interests of the people on today’s labour market. That was the assignment that five trailblazers were set out with.
They listened to numerous interested parties within and outside of the trade union. The men from the metal industry, hospital staf, inspired teachers, proud cleaners, concerned bank employees and many others. People with diferent backgrounds and with equally diferent agreements. And everybody endorsed the importance of a strong trade union. We have pleasure in presenting a concise summary of the ideas for this New Trade Union Movement.
