Palermo's Pizza workers in Milwaukee WI have been fired from their jobs while attempting to organize around safety and working conditions in their workplace.  The Workers have been replaced with scabs by the employer.

The AFL-CIO has approved a national boycott of Palermo's PIzza.  Costco, which carries Palermo's Pizza as its Kirkland pizzas, says that its 3rd party auditors have determined that Palermo's is in compliance with Costco's "supplier code of ethics".  This determination was made after Palermo's fired the workers who were trying to organize, and then cleaned up the place.

Worker's complaints have been confirmed, Palermo's has been fined twice by OSHA for accidents to employees resulting in amputations.  One employee complained that he had his fingernails ripped off then was harassed by the company when they wanted him to return to work the next day and because he wanted to be examined by a physician other than the company doctor.
