(PLF) Condemned the victimization of Trade Union Leaders under (ATA)

On behalf of the Executive Board of Pakistan Labour Federation (PLF) we are demanding the present Democratic Government that the Anti Terrorist Act (ATA) has not been use to stop the  Trade Union activists and victimized the Trade Union Leaders  We also condemned the  managements  to create new dangerous phenomenon  to stop the unionization process through terrorizing the workers in General and Trade Union activists in particular using Anti Terrorist Act (ATA)..
we also condemned that this  law was used in Faisalabad to punish the six Trade Union activists with hundreds of years imprisonment, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) union representatives were being trailed under ATA, Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) CBA union office bearers were kept behind the bars and booked under ATC and new attack was on power loom workers union in Karachi where 12 union leaders have been under trail in Anti Terrorist Court.

We therefore appeal to President of Pakistan to issue necessary instruction to stop the use of this Act against the Trade Union Leaders and Workers and release all innocent Workers
