(PLF condemned the Killings of 58 Garments Workers in Karachi and 26 Workers in Shoe Factory in Lahore due to Fire           

Haji Muhammad Saeed Arian Founder/Secretary General and Mrs Atia Saleem Chairperson Pakistan Labour Federation (PLF)  condemned the killings of 84 industrial workers in two separate incident of fire in Factories in Karachi and Lahore. These two incidents were happened in Garments Factory in Karachi and Shoe Factory in Lahore. These two Factories  with no safety measures...The Labour Leaders condemned the total failure of the Governments in Punjab and Sindh to make sure for the implementation of Labour Laws and safety Rules to be observed  in these two  Factories. The workers in these Two  Factories have no safety measures, no safety kits, and no exit doors to escape in case of fire. They demanded the Government to arrested the responsible persons and hang them and Government should paid 0ne million Rupees to the victims Family immediately

They also demanded that the Labour Department must ensure a total implementation of all the Labour laws and to observe Safety Rules strictly to avoid these type of incident in future.
