PLF Condemned the Arrest of Mr Yacine Zaid and Demanded to release him Immediately

On behalf of the Executive Board of Pakistan Labour Federation (PLF) we condemned the  Arrest of Yacine Zaïd, representative in Algeria of IUF and, Algerian Human Rights activist  was stopped with out any charges and allegations  by police. and beaten  two hours. When his condition was very serious the Police taken him and now he is in the custody of Police.

. Mr Yacine Zaïd’s well-being is at risk because he is  outspoken leader and all time to protect the Basic human rights in Algeria and his long-standing defense of workers' rights

 We therefore  calls on the Algerian authorities to act immediately to secure the release of Yacine Zaïd, guarantee his security and restore his full rights. We also call on authorities to investigate the matter fully and bring those responsible to justice

Pakistan Labour  Federation (PLF) that  is the single Largest National Trade Union center in Pakistan with an affiliation of 440 unions and a membership of more then 7,90,000 workers  demanded to release Mr Yacine Zaid immediately .
