Given the renewed interest in the world in what is happening in Latin America, we hope this mailing list can contribute to greater circulation of information on the region from local sources, as well as of Latin American perspectives on global issues.  We will also send periodic updates of links to English language documents available on our site http://www.alainet.org.

We would appreciate your help in REACHING NEW POTENTIAL LIST SUBSCRIBERS.  You can either send us addresses you think we should include and/or you can send invitations yourself.  The next message on the list will be a model invitation that you can use (or personalize) and resend.

We are particularly interested in establishing more South-South links (eg. with the Caribbean, Africa and Asia).

We expect to send, on average, one or two mailings a week, mostly original material or new translations (largely thanks to our volunteer translators), which can normally be reproduced freely, quoting the source (unless otherwise indicated).
