IWW little red songbook australian version: The Bosses darling

Little Red Songbook Australian version is coming
so we wage-slaves can sing while we strike, Occupy a chorus.

"The Bosses Darling."
(Anne Ominous.)

Oh come along down to the factory

The production line is turning

If you work all day for the minimum pay

God knows what you’ll be earning

Just step in line when you arrive

To keep your family alive

At the end of the day you just survive
to be
 The Bosses Darlin'

So come along down to the factory

We’ll keep you on your toes’es

There’s lots of unemployment now

So don’t look down your noses

There's shift work here and shift work there

What you do with your family is your affair

If you don’t like it there’s plenty more

To be the bosses darlin'

These days we’re getting organised

This time we won’t be beaten

It’s ‘you lend a hand with the frying pan

I’m off to a union meeting’.

You men who cross our picket line

Remember you’ll get yours in time

The enemy’s the same,

Its yours and mine

The scab is the bosses’ darling.
