Irregular workers in public corporation of South Korea have struggled over 1,000 days

Over 1,000 days struggle and 100 days sit-in struggle for recognition of labor union and reinstatement of 9 sacked workers is now going on in front of Korean Sports Promotion Organization(KSPO).

One of precarious workers tried to kill himself during a KCTU rally in front of Hyundai Motors company.

It's one more tregedy in Korea. A leader of metal union in Korea burned himself to resist against government and police attack

A few hours ago, a leader of metal union in Kumi(southern area of Korea) try to kill himself by burning himself. Before he killed himself, he had a collective bargainning with the employer of KEC(Korean Electronic Corporation). Korean government has ruined workers right

Nowadays workers in Korea are losing their jobs and basic labor rights. The main reason is current Korean government which is so called 'buisness friendly government'. The president MyoungBak Lee doesn't like workers unity. Therefore he try to continuously worsen labor right and working conditions.
