Donghwan Ko said… Hi, I heard there has been a lot of snow in Europe. How about Geneva?
As you written before in my page, my organization(KPTU) face problems after the labor law revized to detiorate labor rights.
Especailly railway workers have faced restless suppress since Lee Myung-bak government started.
Now almost 200 workers are fired and 12,000 are punished by railway management. Railway worker's Union has been targeted to be destroyed by Lee Myung-bak government. Therefore president Lee came to railway corporation office while workers were on strike legally and he told to CEO of railway 'this strike is illegal'. Since then management of railway tried to make the strike to be illegal by all methods of management can do.
Why? Because president Lee hate labor union. President Lee wants to kick out of every labor unions in Korea. Railway corporation is representative of government ruling company. If government can remove labor union in railway corporation, every union in government ruling corporation can be removed or dismantled.
Now we(KPTU) fight against these kinds of government suppresses.
