I support the striking workers in South Africa

*** IMPORTANT: this group was set up in August 2010 to support COSATU's general strike at that time - it has nothing to do with the 2012 strike.  UnionBook members may feel free to set up support groups for any strike they want -- but please pay attention to what each group was set up for.  ***A group to help coordinate global solidarity with the workers on strike in South Africa. IMPORTANT NEWS: The unions have suspended the strike. But the struggle is not over. We will keep this group going…See More

Hello Wnedy

I was up in your city in 1993. I had a play on in the Royal Theatre. I had a great time there. I ended up in one of the illegal drinking houses which were in the lanes which came out beside the big bridge. I found the people a lot mor friendly than your southern counterparts. Hope to talk soon.

regards

Joe
