Difficult days of unionism in Nepal. There is very high supply of unionism. In such a small country where unionised workforce doesnot exceed 1 million workers out of a total workforce of 11.7 million, the number of national centres registered is 9, non-registered are 7. My organization GEFONT covers 350,000 members as the largest confederation, other three are significant with more than 100,000 members, others are very smal and just political union groups which do not exist in…
