- (SIGTUR) Southern Initiative Global Trade Union Rights is currently in a phase of experimentation a search for new methods of organizing, new methods of challenging the dominant power of global corporations and the weak response of political parties across the political spectrum. From its inception in 1991, SIGTUR is a movement experiment that has brought together the democratic unions in the south in a search for new forms of empowerment.

I also think it would be worthwhile to send it to GM in the U.S. if there is a substantial number of signatures.
