I am a documentary filmmaker based in Los Angeles and directed/produced a 1 hour film entitled "LOCKED OUT" which is a story of how unionized (ILWU) miners in California stood up to their employer, Rio Tinto, a giant multinational mining corporation, and refused to accept wage and benefit cuts. The company then locked them out of their jobs and hired scabs to replace them. - Sounds interesting. I hope you followed the work we did with the Stella D'Oro strikers last year. Their year long strike in spite of plant closing was an inspiration to the working class. We made successful in roads with those workers. They are still keeping in touch with each other and working with and in PLP.
