A few words about myself and my labour projects...
I'm Bojan Stanislawski, I'm 30, Bulgarian by birth, internationalist by conviction, based in Warsaw (Poland). I work in a small trade-union publishing house as the editor-in-chief of the biggest Polish labour magazine called "Zwiazkowiec" (The Unionist). Since 2006 I collaborate with Eric Lee and edit LabourStart's Polish section.
ZWIAZKOWIEC.info is the website for the bi-weekly magazine „Zwiazkowiec”. Our website provides a platform for trade unions and left activists in Poland. We provide information about the current activities in Polish trade union circles and we discuss about their history and future, strategies and ideas for further growth. We provide views and comments of trade unionists on important social and economic topics which the mainstream media pay little attention to.
This trade union website is also a leftist publication and provides discussions on Polish and international labour movement organizations, their political representation and alternative economic conceptions. It is an attempt to build an intellectual background in the polish trade unions.
In ZWIAZKOWIEC.info’s international section — Polish Labour Notes — we intend to publish material that we consider could be important and interesting from the point of view of an international reader. Therefore we welcome all suggestions and contributions. We warmly welcome all who are interested in building and strengthening the labour movement inernationally.

Youth in the unions (1) -- debate

Why are there so few young people in the labour movement? The average age of the union activists, let alone the high-ranking officials, is getting drastically high. How can we change this situation? Are the internet and the new technologies a solution to our problems?

I am with the Campaign to Stop Killer Coke (www.KillerCoke.org). Over the past four days our site has been getting thousands of hits from Poland. The site that started the interest in our site is at: http://peb.pl/off-topic/203192-coca-cola-czy-killer-cola.html
We would like a translation of on of our paragraphs that explains how to "Translate" from English to Polish. We'd appreciate it if you could translate that paragraph:
"Another option that now exists is a "Translate" button at the bottom of each page. If there is something written in another language, a click of that button will translate the page into one of some 30 languages. This is especially needed for our supporters in non-English speaking countries. We hope that those of you with friends in other countries will inform them of the site and the translation option."
Here is the translation we get from our site. Is it a reasonable, understandable translation?
"Innym rozwiązaniem, które teraz istnieje jest "Translate" na dole każdej strony. Jeśli jest coś napisane w innym języku, kliknięcie tego przycisku przetłumaczenia strony na jednym z około 30 języków.Jest to szczególnie potrzebne dla naszych kibiców niż krajach anglojęzycznych. Mamy nadzieję, że tych, z przyjaciółmi z innych krajów zostaną poinformowani o miejscu i możliwość tłumaczenia."
