Wol-san Liem said… Dear Amsterdam Cok.
Thanks for your comment on my article. Yes. I had wanted to include more on the corruption of ETUF, including the wealth its leaders had amassed and was looking at the information on the CTUWS site. It was mostly a matter of time and space that I was not able to include it. I'm hoping to revise the article and will include your feedback.
You are somehow related to the Center for Trade Union and Workers Services in Egypt, correct? I work with a labor research center in South Korea (The Research Institute for Alternative Workers Movements) and am in charge of international solidarity. I was actually hoping that we could build a relationship between our organizations. I hope to continue to bring news about the struggle in Egypt and throughout the region to the Korean labor movement and in the long term find ways we can build solidarity with one another.. Perhaps we could start by communicating on unionbook?
