About meI am a public high school teacher living in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S. In addition to being a member of the Baltimore Teachers Union (an AFT affiliate), I am also Branch Secretary of the Baltimore General Membership Branch of the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW), a union I have belonged to for over 5 years. In 2007 and 2008 I served as an elected member of the IWW's International Solidarity Commission (ISC). I also served as co-editor of the IWW's official newspaper, the Industrial Worker, for the first half of 2007. I have been involved in the labor movement along with various social justice and environmental movements for virtually my entire adult life. I am interested in networking with anyone who wants to help build a truly rank and file labor movement that has the power to build a better and more just world.
