UnionBook is the social networking website for trade unionists.
It is a project of LabourStart - the news and campaigning website of the international trade union movement.
You can use UnionBook as an organizing tool, or for trade union education, or to build solidarity actions.
It contains a whole tool-box full of features that trade unionists can use including individual profiles, friends, blogs, groups, embedded multimedia, and so on. There is even a micro-blogging feature (The Wire) which allows you to post short status updates (or whatever you want) which appear on UnionBook and can be automatically routed to Twitter, and from there to Facebook and your blog.
More features are being added all the time.
UnionBook is running on Elgg, the open source social networking platform.
