Is this a gesture to feminism and The Colour Purple? If so, this could surely be done in terms of content rather than colour.

Permalink Reply by UCATT UE-084 Branch on September 25, 2011 at 22:06 Yes it put me off to, as an ex-painter I agree it's a ghastly colour scheme but worse is the fact that this colour scheme possible breaks the UK Disability Discrimination Law. That this can be done without any action being taken to correct the matter by a "UnionBook The social network for trade unionists" seems absolutely disgraceful. Why as this matter not been address it makes the whole thing hypercritical. How can we condemn organisation for wrongful discrimination practices when we turn a blind eye (no pun intended) to this colour scheme that requires those with poorer vision to highlight it to distinguish typing from background.
