UnionBook

The social network for trade unionists - a LabourStart project.

Is there a way I can add more than one RSS feed to my page ?

I have added LabourStart successfully and I also want to add the Australian LabourStart news stories in the same way- i.e. to show the full details. So far, I have only managed a link to the Australian RSS feed, but would like to add the full display of the headlines and comments in the same way as the global LabourStart RSS. I can't find a way to do it that will allow me to show both of these on my page - i.e. in sections next to each other.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks.

I see what you mean - it appears at first that you can add more than one feed, but once you've added one, it stops you.

I'll raise this with Ning.

Thanks Eric.

Ning has replied as follows:

You are correct in that only 1 RSS feed can be displayed on a member's page. That limit cannot be increased.

I'm not happy with this reply and think that we should use existing channels on their network to have them change this.
There may be a way around this. Read this.
Thanks Eric. I've added this to 'my apps' and added my new RSS feeds but I can't seem to get them added to my page as a display. I have to click on 'my apps' to see it. Am I missing something obvious ? Thanks.

If you go here - http://www.unionbook.org/profiles/profile/myPageSettings - you see different places to display your news feeds. I just tested this and you can see mine in the My Apps page. It's not great, but it works.
