No, apparently not. I see there is an archive of events. The problem with commenting on an event is that you have to look at the archive when the event is past. I posted a comment on the above-mentioned event asking people to post their comments "here" -- and here was a link, underlined. But people misunderstood, and just read the word, and continued to post. Next time I won't make "here" into a link, and instead will be more specific.
