I just checked by profile settings and they were wide open by default. This shows that so far unionbook has no privacy advantages over facebook. I changed all my privacy settings to more restricted settings.

Should we perhaps discuss methods to ensure safety for union members. From secrecy to protection from law. For example consider the ability of the UK government to seize union funds. How does one overcome this? Would offshore accounts survive such blatant attacks.

Make no mistake: in many countries trade unionists are prosecuted and killed. Even in the "free" west you are being watched by the state and those files will be used against you when they feel they need to do just that. The state is a class instrument of our enemy, not an impartial agent and certainly not a friend!
