tall order really to create a global strike by handing out dinky pieces of paper. sayin that im still going for it. realy think you ought to start preaching it on the street instead of that christian stuff sermon on the mount. One day we will all see the light. Love. pity about the owner of the facebook group, do you think they died or got imprisond or something? I was directing people 20 odd people there a week but i stopped now, dont know where to direct them now? People need to feel they have solidarity , at the moment we cant provide them that , I just get the feeling Im on my own and so is everybody else. we should be feeling united but we are feeling isolated.

Well, well!  Only 183 days to go!

Is it going to happen?  The capitalist-controlled media won't spread the word.  We can only rely on the internet and word of mouth.

Labor Board Slaps Boeing
for Punishing Strikers
The National Labor Relations Board told Boeing this week that it can't retaliate against workers who exercise their right to strike. Sandy Pope, reform candidate for president of the Teamsters, went on Fox Business Thursday to explain to the hosts that Boeing isn't exactly the only company that threatens, intimidates, and retaliates against its workers.

Egyptian Teachers Protest Government Snooping, Ban on Strikes
The Egyptian military government's push to ban the right to strike, coupled with rising teacher grievances, sparked protests this week demanding the impeachment of the education minister. A leader of the independent teachers union said security forces still watch teachers.

we will support you whatever happens - we envisage strikes all over 2012 - presumably its up to workers themselves when to kick off and decisions will be made by workers councils in conjunction with what goes on but july 27th is as good a guess as any... although we would have thought the 28th july being the anniversary of the founding of the SI and the death of Isou would be more fitting!!!!

The torch is lit in Greece (the origin place of the Olympic Games) and runners carry it through the counties of those participating, util it reaches the place where the Games are to be held. There the torch lights a flame in the ceremonial cauldron - the signal for the Games - and the Strike to begin...
