How much is the government taking from you?

Use the PCS pay and pension calculator to see how much more the government wants you to pay while working longer to receive less.

"RMT General Grades Committee decision:

We note that our LU Engineering branch reports that following our decision to challenge Thales management last year about a bullying culture at Waterloo, the company took the following actions:
began to investigate the complaints both formally via a grievance and informally , implemented regular site visits by Human Resources to encourage staff to come forward with complaints etc. started to implement management training.

Our branch believes that this has led to a sea change and a vast improvement in treatment.

Reps have stated that they consider the matter resolved and no longer require a ballot on this issue.

We note our branch secretary’s view that given the threat of industrial action, Thales took the right course of action to protect our members. We congratulate our branch, reps and members on making a stand on this issue, and encourage and will support members in other workplaces to take a similar stand should they experience bullying."

Perhaps this is the way all incidences of bullying and harassment by managers should be dealt with.
