I live in Vancouver,B.C. I'm a member of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and was a past member of the Pacific Northwest Labour History Association.I am currently on the local executives of the New Democratic Party,both federally and provincially.

Wobblies welcome? I have an interesting story. Just got back from Miami, where I saw two High School friends with whom I had been out of touch nearly 40 years. The sister of my buddy, (all RD babies) married a man from Guatemala who was a president of the trade unions council back when Reagan unleashed the SOA grads on the population. His story is both inspirational and a wake-up to those who believe Union repression, to the point of death squads, "can't happen here" in North America. I'll be cross-posting on other sites and other rooms of UB, and hope to write an article about his life, to both educate and warn our Fellow Workers.
