Thanks for your comment Trish. I agree that the portrayal of Norma Rae in the film is very positive.

Just left a group of union reps watching 'Norma Rae' as a break from their studies. Its a bit fluffy and a bit hollywood, but still really refreshing to see a woman union activist portrayed in a truly positive light.
