There are numerous documentary filmmakers today who are interested in telling stories of working class struggles in the U.S. and abroad. Those of us who produce these labor documentaries and well as those who run labor film festivals will be meeting in October in Washington DC, to discuss how we can outreach more so that workers can see our films.

I directed and produced a one hour documentary "LOCKED OUT" which is the story of how California ILWU miners fought and won against corporate greed after being locked out of their jobs and replaced with scabs for 4 months. The struggle took place in 2010 and the documentary was completed in February, 2011.
