Hey brothers and sisters,
I was just wondering if anyone can shed any light on one of main questions that I have regarding the occupy movement.
In Dublin the occupy movement has done it alone. They made a point of not affiliating with any group outside the occupy movement be it political parties, Unions or any other group. For this reason it seems rather rudderless and has been marginalized here in Dublin.
Where the Occupy Wall Street seemed an all inclusive endeavor who have embraced unions and so average Joes like me have found it accessible. However by not allowing Unions or other groups to work with the Occupy Dame street movement, to give them their full title, my people seem to see them as a far left polarizing group which is not how they should be seen.
I'd like to know what experiences you've heard of from various Occupy groups. Those that have approached you and those that have not. I'd like to know how they're perceived by locals in your area. The very demographic they're trying to inspire.
Fraternally
Adam
