the Playfair 2012 north east campaign have set up this group to continue its work on international solidarity in the region and elsewhere in the UK, beyond the Olympics.

 

We hope to build a network of supporters for workers rights in the global economy, via the distribuiton of a quarterly newsletter.

Interesting international work you did.  am retired recently from hospital work in New York. Still active in aiding the movement against racist medical cuts by the state and federal governments. So active I got into a little hot water in the past  2 weeks with hospital bosses. It will pass and the movement will grow

This is great to see! I organized for workers' rights and poor people's right during the Winter Olympic games in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2002. Then i went to Greece in 2004 to study what happened to Iraqi refugee construction workers there. So glad to get connected with you!
